Time is Art ~ Maui Alignment

KONA, Hawaii ~ Everyone can feel it. The energy of life has sped up. It seems like tomorrow is here before we’re even finished with yesterday. The Mayan Calendar system relates that Time is moving at 20 times the rate it moved from 1999 to 2010, reflecting the accelerated vertical ascent of human consciousness into new dimensions and subtle realms.

The resurrection of our planet is at hand as we move in deeper accord with Natural Time. We thrive on re-creation, learning from nature, celebrating with our tribe, and making pilgrimage to sacred sites for rejuvenation. That’s why I’ve accepted an invitation to travel to the Crater of Haleakala in Maui this May 12 – 21 — and you’re invited to come for the journey of a lifetime too!

Takeli, an Australian signature cell healer, envisioned the tour for anyone who wants to help heal the Earth by drawing on the power of this sacred Hawaiian place, the planet’s primary vortex of fire, to jumpstart peace, health and harmony around the world. Under the Full Scorpio Moon, we will restore our kinship with all creation and deepen the Earth’s connection to our galactic heritage and the larger cycles of Natural Time.

One of my beloved mentors, José Argüelles, the visionary who brought the ancient Mayan Calendar into the modern era, passed away recently. He felt that the Gregorian calendar was a programming device out-of-sync with the perfect cycles of the moon and cosmos, the very basis of our planet’s disharmony, chaos and injustice. By switching to the 13-moon-28 day calendar that reflects real true celestial cycles, as our ancestors had, we could integrate our lives with Natural Time and generate more clarity, happiness, synchronicity, and extrasensory awareness.

Filled with sadness at José’s passing and berating myself for not staying in closer contact with him, I felt a telepathic tug when my gracious friend Magdallynna called me about the May journey to Maui. The tour’s timing coincides with a bi-annual Pleiadian Alignment, when the constellation of nine stars lines up with the Earth and the high vibration light of this revered star system will be very strong at the sacred volcano.

José’s deathbed words still reverberate in my bones. “EVERYTHING IS PERFECT!!!” he said. “Love everyone. Hate no one. God bless everyone.”

This loving perspective came from a man who had been both worshiped and demonized for the awesome body of visual and written work which he gave to the world. José co-created the original Earth Day and guided me, among hundreds of other artists, in Harmonic Convergence ceremonies on August 16-17, 1987 — 24 years ago.

Whenever I was with him, at peace festivals, dances and ceremonies, during drives to organizational meetings and tactical Planet Art Network (PAN) gatherings, and while just being himself as a good human being, his integrity never wavered. He joyfully accepted and pursued his difficult but fruitful lifelong mission, which was nothing less than helping humans to realign with nature and to restore our planet in proper relationship with the rest of the galaxy and beyond. He taught me that “Time is Art,” and that art is how we can direct human culture back into the cosmic bosom of peace, purpose and harmony.

You have to believe in the stars. There they are, seemingly eternal, arabesquing through their orbits like there’s no tomorrow. Timing is everything, they seem to sing.

Because our sun (and we with it) orbits the Pleiades once every 25,860 years, it was chosen by the ancient Maya as a basic unit for their calendar calculations. The 26,000-year Mayan Great Cycle which we are completing in 2011-2012 is based on the Pleiadian cycle and ends with the Pleiades Constellation, Earth and the galactic center all in perfect alignment.

The Pleiades are honored in almost every culture around the globe. From ancient manuscripts and cuneiform to legends and mythology, it seems no stars were more talked about and considered more influential to man’s destiny than this small heavenly group. They were considered “The Creator of the Universe”, “The Center of the Heaven”, and “The Seat of the Soul of God.”

We all need more space and time to sit and feel the stars overhead, to sense the leaves fluttering in salute to the morning breeze, to breathe in the wholesome wisdom of nature and sing out in harmony. This and more will be shared on our pilgrimage to the sacred volcano on Maui.
